Syokinet and Kenya Pipeline Company Launch Nairobi–Mombasa Longhaul & Metro Fiber Network

Syokinet Solutions, in collaboration with Kenya Pipeline Company (KPC), officially launched the Syokinet Longhaul & Metro Network, connecting Nairobi and Mombasa through the KPC Fiber Optic Network. The landmark event marked the activation of 1.6 Tbps of high-capacity connectivity infrastructure, reinforcing Kenya's digital backbone and supporting the country's growing connectivity needs.
The launch brought together industry leaders, technology stakeholders, partners, and members of the media to witness a significant milestone in Kenya's telecommunications sector. The new network is designed to provide enhanced capacity, improved reliability, and greater resilience for businesses, internet service providers, content providers, and data centers operating across the country.
